LADIES AND GENTLEMEN

IF YOU ARE STREAMING, DON’T USE PROCASTER.

DON’T. USE. PROCASTER.

Livestream procaster consumes large amounts of cpu for nothing. No joke, nothing. As a result your stream can become laggy and sometimes it can damage your hardware as your PC has to push itself to keep what…

The first part isn’t entirely truthful. All streaming software will tax your hardware. Streaming is just. Very taxing for an average users computer.

That said, a lot of people have other problems with pro caster and those are good alternatives. However they are also likely to stress your hardware so just be aware of that.

also people should keep in mind that sometimes when an artist says “doodle" what they mean is "stress-free art”. that doesn’t necessarily mean that the “doodle” they made is something that they didn’t work hard at or didn’t spend a long time on. some people get really out of control when they see impressive works and the artist write “just a doodle” and they think, this is it, this is the end, im no longer going to be an artist, how can i possibly compare myself.

sometimes “just a doodle” means “not working on commissions or something work-based”, so don’t fret yourselves. plus not everyone who posts art plans on a bunch of people seeing it. you don’t really expect your stupid poorly written artist caption to be seen by a lot of people via reblogs,

But by definition, a “doodle” is any kind of drawing (or digital drawing) made while the artist is unfocused, or made idly, so anything you are putting effort into, regardless of whether it’s stress-free or not, isn’t a “doodle”. And “just” in this context is being used to downplay whatever it is the artist has done, making it seem trivial or insignificant.

So for those who don’t know what your personal definition of these words are, they’re looking at this piece that they think is really good, possibly even inspiring, and then seeing it downplayed as “merely something that I didn’t even pay attention to”.

Plus, it’s pretty derogatory to the artist themselves to put down something they’ve worked on as “just” anything because it didn’t cause them stress. Your work can be valuable, even if it doesn’t cause you stress or make you money. It’s not “just” as sketch. It’s a sketch. It’s not “just” lineart, it’s lineart. It’s not “just” something you put a lot of effort into, it’s something you put a lot of effort into and you enjoyed it!

tbh, I think animatronics were designed to replace costumed actors in places like Chuck E. Cheese.

Think of it this way, with soundboxes you can play pre-recorded messages over and over at set intervals (FOREVER if repairs aren’t needed), and with the programmed movements, animatronic robots give the illusion to KIDS that the characters are alive. During operating hours, the robots still move even when not “talking”, which makes it seem like a band performance with occasional breaks.

Unfortunately, most animatronics are a product of their time, and the jerky movements and designs fall squarely in the Uncanny Valley, especially for adults. Five Nights at Freddie’s, interestingly, doesn’t cover the joints up with clothing or lots of “fur” like a lot of other animatronics.

And then there’s the niche group who purchase old, retired animatronic bands and repurpose them to sing pop songs and rap.

As a kid, I HATED these things. I was already terrified of mascots and then adding onto that awkward jerky inhuman movements… I hated Chuck E Cheese. :(

Who else watches movies that you own when they’re on TV, just because they’re on TV.

Tangled is on right now and I own it but I’m still gonna watch it on TV..
